Herring Run Watershed Association's Rain Barrel Building Workshop First 10 NOGLI residents to sign up receive a $20 discount! 

Looking to save energy and money this gardening season?  Come to Herring Run Park at Hallspring and build your own rain barrel with guidance from the experts of Herring Run Watershed Association!  NOGLI is offering a special deal this month, in honor of Earth Day 2010...first 10 NOGLI residents to sign up pay $25 as a member of HRWA or $45 as a non-member.  That's a $20 discount!

If you want to get involved in a great local community garden project, here's your opportunity!  Come to Hamilton Elementary Middle School, and bring a rake, bucket, shovel, or wheelbarrow.  We'll be planting spring crops and spreading mulch for the HEMS Community Garden Project.  Contact hamiltoncropcircle@gmail.com with questions.

Friday, April 23rd @ 4 to 5pm:  Composting 101 with Hamilton Crop Circle
Join Hamilton Crop Circle and NOGLI at 4500 Harford Rd. to learn about the simplicity and benefits of composting, and build your own worm composting bin to take home!  RSVP to nicole@greaterlauraville.com to reserve a space and materials.  Kids are more than welcome!  Price:  $5 per person, kids are FREE.
